Most Beautiful Beaches |
|
A huge continent with a stunning array of flora and
fauna, beaches, tropical rainforests, rugged mountains and vast deserts, Australia
is surrounded by water on all sides and is bascially one big island which just
happens to have a coastline 22,845 miles (36735 km.) long.
Among it's
miles of beaches, Bondi Beach is best known mainly due to its proximity to Sydney.
Keep traveling down the Southeast to find the bright and beautiful surfing
beaches of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland or to Gold Coast resorts and great
surfing and swimming around Brisbane.
Head north to Cairns and the Great
Barrier Reef for some of the world's best scuba diving & snorkeling, or head west
to swim with the dolphins around Sharks Bay. | |

Whitsunday Islands, Australia |

Whitsunday
Islands: the Whitsunday's 74 islands have squeaky white beaches, turquoise water
and thickly pine clad hills. Seven islands host resort hotels of all kinds but
with a common marine theme - fishing, sailing, whale watching, castaway picnics,
you want it, they got it. |

Waitarere
Beach, New Zealand |
|
Waitarere
Beach is also a popular fishing spot where Kahawai, Snapper, Groper, Gurnard,
Flounder and Sole are the most common catches. The large, flat beach is ideal
to back your boat into with a tractor or a four-wheel drive. During the Whitebait
season you can find a spot to sit your net at the Manawatu or the Ohau river mouths. |
