Jondal Spain, Traveller Information To the east of Cala Jondal and reached by unsurfaced
road, with a sign to Restaurant Sa Caleta. Absolutely beautiful sandy beach with
very shallow water, making it ideal for families and younger children. Very popular
with the locals at the weekend, it can get very full.
The beach itself
was made by cutting through the rocks a few years ago, making for some stunning,
rugged coastline.

Activities:
Relaxation
Size: 100 metres long, 10 metres wide.
Reached
only by car, on the road from Ibiza Town, past the airport towards Cala Jondal.
With plenty of Car Parking and pine trees providing natural shade Cala Jondal
beach is one of the islands best kept secrets.
Cala Jondal also has a
good choice of bars and restaurants to keep you fed and watered all day.
This conservation area of natural beauty has to be one of the last outposts of
paradise. Overlooked only by a few exquisitely architected homes high up on the
surrounding green hills, the wide deep beach is dotted here and there with the
shade of pines trees before it slopes gently to the glittering, crystal clear
waters. Plenty of parking and mooring.
The Restaurant Tropicana (see
below) will also bring you your drinks direct to your boat - now that's what we
call stylish!
Activities: Pedaloes
Size: 225 metres
long, 15 metres wide
Reached only by car (and private yacht!), follow
signposts from Ibiza Town and the airport.
Tropicana Restaurant
To the extreme right on the beach is the best known restaurant of the elegant
waterset. Maitre Alexander presides over healthy eating in the fashionably rustic
restaurant, with tables under the trees on the flower bedded patios.
