beach of fine sand and shallow waters. From here and off the cliffs nearby are
lovely views of the Isla Es Vedra and the smaller Isla Vedranell. Reached by car,
bus and ferry.
Cala d'Hort is a well hidden
sandy cove just beyond Cala Vadella heading south. It is the nearest too and has
a stunning view of the mystical islands of Es Vedra and Es Vedranell.
As a bonus there are a couple of excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood and
other local dishes.
Just about right after a refreshing swim in the crystal
waters - can get good waves there too if the wind is in the right direction.

Shopping in San Antonio, Ibiza In San Antonio you'll

Fed up with the clubs' extortionate prices? Enjoy our San Antonio Bar Special
If, as we, you are fed up paying 50 entry and 10 for a beer, read
our reviews below of some excellent alternatives. Some are full on music
bars with dancing and club-feel, some are perfect for lazing away the hot and
steamy days with a cool cocktail, whilst others offer a more traditional pub atmosphere,
with games, shows and great value prices....!! Kanya - The New Sunset
Bar and Thai Restaurant As the only bar-cum-club on the sunset strip
and with a 4am licence, it's no surprise this orange and blue multi-coloured creation
is becoming one of the more admired sunset locations. Get your towel down early,
as Kanya's beautiful pool and sun terrace can become one of the busiest places
to sunbath during the day along the 'Strip', with the all day party crew chilling
out. When day turns to night, flock to the in-and-outdoor dance floors for the
nightly pre-parties to sample the après midnight dance licence from the
phat sound-system. And you can grab a bite in the Thai restaurant at
Kanya or something lighter from the tasty snack bar menu (Spaghetti Bolognaise
- 10 ). Drinks aren't cheap, but remember this is a legendary place to watch
the sun say 'adios'. Club 'Nightlife' - San Antonio's West End
San Antonio is littered with bars, cheap drink offers and plenty of up-for-it
people. What's even better is there's a nightclub here in San An that is totally
free of charge - don't believe it? Neither did I. Not even as little
as a euro was shelled out by myself to gain entry to 'Nightlife' situated just
across from the taxi rank. From the full-capacity club I realised that here was
an excellent alternative option from the other seven 'super clubs' and if you're
holidaying on a strict budget. Don't let the fact that admission is free put you
off, as you definitely won't be disappointed to find out that the standard is
just as high with first division DJs headlining numerous nights of the week. All
in all, the drinks are inexpensive, the atmosphere is wicked, the music is for
everyone so strap on your dancing shoes and get in there! Sgt Peppers
II - San Antonio Bay All around the bay in the busy, barmy summer
season, hundreds of drinking dens fight to be 'the one' holding 'the party' with
a capital P. Peppers II ranks highly in this league and is probably one of the
best places to simply surrender to the madness. With a near 20 hour opening licence,
Manager Ian ensures around the clock mayhem of friendly family fun along with
urban up-fer-it youngsters lasting until dawn. A spacious terrace boasting a pool
table, bar and TV action is favoured by the more mature crew whilst inside the
intimate dancefloor is the perfect place to get down and boogie to massive summer
anthems from DJ Jaffa. Peppers is renowned for its crazy themed nights from Monday
through to Sunday but if you're too shy to partake, go along anyway, even if it
is just for the chuckling factor! Weekly favourites are 'Miss Wet T-shirt' and
cheeky 'School Nite', I wonder why?! Pink Panther - San Antonio Bay
If a night out amongst the notoriously rowdy West End clan isn't you're thing,
head round San Antonio's bay for a colossal collection of bars where the 'good
time' atmosphere is available 7 days a week. About five minutes walk from Hotel
Hawaii, British themed pub 'The Pink Panther' serves a slap-up meal of fun filled
nights. With different deeds most nights of the week, it would be an easy option
to take root here for each and every one of your sundowns. Sunday, Tuesdays
and Fridays are the ever popular pub quiz with the chance to win 'big cash prizes'.
Keeping in theme with back home in blighty, try your talent at 'Pop Idol Karaoke'
on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Other nights by manager Sue and her crew include
Cocktail Parties, Pool Knockout and 'Live' events on the television.
The Pink Panther opens at 8pm and on the whole, entertainment starts at 9pm for
the 'family friendly' atmosphere. As the board outside says, If you've never had
'sex on the beach' followed by a 'screaming orgasm' or sipped your 'wicked willy'
while clutching your 'fruity balls', you've never had a cocktail at the Pink Panther!
Itaca - San Antonio Taking up a nice slice along the s'Arenal
beach promenade in the midst of other well known bars, Itaca stands out with its
unmistakable Grecian columns and temple-like design. If your vision is still blurred
from the night before and don't know where I mean, look for the mammoth disco-ball
overhanging the funky upstairs cocktail terrace. Manager Juan and his funky team
have managed yet again to make Itaca the official home of pre-parties such as
Tonic and Charly's Angelz and as a result have made this a favourite haunt of
the youthful massive and a great place to kick off the hours of darkness. For
early risers and sun worshippers, Itaca opens at 10am and the beautiful downstairs
terrace is the perfect place to take a pew and watch San An go by. Food
is top notch from the huge selection on the scrumptious menu or check out the
weekly specials board. I opted for Lasagne, garlic bread and a large drink, all
coming to the very reasonable fee of 8. If you're good at decision making,
check out the rather extensive desserts and cocktails menu, if not, sod it, you're
on holiday, try them all! Millennium - San Antonio Bay
Similar in décor and colour to San An's Itaca, Millennium adorns the main
road through San Antonio bay with its columns and Greek style terrace. With live
sporting events shown on the big big screen and day long meals being their best
assets in attracting customers, Pepe and his staff have no trouble in filling
up this sports/disco bar with family holidaymakers. An indoor pool table and disco
dancefloor keep the younger ones occupied as the big kids, otherwise known as
adults, take to the stage for the karaoke and full monty entertainment specials.
A somewhat different crowd makes an appearance on nights such as 80's disco and
Miss wet T-shirt, but all in all a good fun family way to start your night.
Soulcity @ Simple (Simple Art Bar) - San Antonio's West End
When you're slap bang in the middle of the west end, slightly under the influence,
and in serious need of a fast food snack attack (face it, we've all been there)
you get yourself to KFC, right? OK. Next time you're there, probably tonight,
finish your chicken, lick your fingers, and head next door on the right to Soulcity
@ Simple for some real finger lickin' fun. Full to the brim every night
with people up for a good time, Soulcity is without doubt one of the busiest music
orientated bars in the west end. Since Manager Julian's decision to change
the music policy away from the typical 'Ibiza house', the DJs play different sets
throughout the week orientated around the variety of music on offer. R&B,
Soul, Garage, Hip-Hop and Reggae are among the favourites, but whatever the choice,
whatever the night, if you are up for a night of drinking and dancing mayhem get
yourself to Simple. Being a bar, entrance is free, you'll find Simple open every
night till 6am, party on! Things
