Captiva Island

Captiva island is connect to Sanibal Island by a small bridge.This is the perfect place for your vacation what ever your choice may either you want your ramantic vaction, Family Trip, or just a nature vacation. Captiva Island, sister to larger Sanibel Island, is just over a small bridge which cross at Turner Beach. Turner Beach is a grand place for catching that prize fish and also for finding the multi-colored shells that these islands are famous for. The beach stretches 5 miles to the northern tip of Captiva Island at Redfish Pass. From the bridge at Turner beach, Captiva Drive is a scenic drive past giant cactus, colorful bougainvilleas and other tropical flora along a stretch of sea and sand ending at "downtown" Captiva, is just a small village.

Activity at Captiva Island :- Captiva Island beaches all face west and offer incredible sunset views. Visitors and locals alike congregate for the nightly event. Like Sanibel, watersports are almost limitless. While nighttime entertainment can mean driving to Sanibel for live theater or special concerts, there’s lots of live music at the island's restaurants, bistros and lounges.

Reaching There :- Captiva is located on Florida's southwest coast, just one hour from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Ft. Myers. The island is a 3 hour drive from Tampa International and Ft. Lauderdale. Miami and Orlando are 4 hours away.
