Maldives Kuredu Island
Kuredu Island is the largest hotel in the Maldives located only 40 minutes by Air-Taxi or 3½ hours speed boat from the airport. All bungalows are individually built and situated on or near the beach. There are standard and superior rooms. The superior rooms are equipped with air-condition, refrigerators, hot-water shower and bamboo furniture. Public areas, bars and restaurants are built in traditional Maldivian style. International and Oriental cuisine in two restaurants, two bars, disco, coffee shop and a grill restaurant are all available for you.
Kuredu Island Resort is located in Lhaviyani Atoll, an area famous for its abundant fish life. A paradise dream in real life, with more than 3 km of white beaches and aquamarine lagoons. Kuredu is situated on the northern reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, 80 miles north of the international Airport 'Hulhule', 40 minutes by seaplane from the airport.
Exotic, thatched bungalows and spacious villas accommodate our guests. Bungalows and Villas line the white sand beach, while Sangu Sunset Water Villas are built on columns over the lagoon. Our guests chose from 2 resorts and 4 catagories of rooms. On the western end of the island the magnificent Sangu Resort with exclusive Bar, Restaurant and Reception offers the fabulous Sangu Sunset Water Villas. Whereas Kuredu Island Resort offers the cosy and comfortable Beach Bungalows and the beautiful Beach Villas.
For the convenience of our guests we have several restaurants, bars and shops in Kuredu; a well assorted souvenir and gift shop, a Jewellery shop, a one hour photo processing shop, a dive- and snorkel equipment shop and a Golf Pro shop.
Lhaviyani Atoll in Maldives is located 140 km from Male. Lhaviyani Atoll or Faadhippolhu has innumerable exotic dive sites. Out of 50 isles, only five isles are inhabited in Lhaviyani atoll. The atoll welcomes you to discover your fantasy beneath the deep blue sea.
Dive in the Fahigiri Reef to the eastern tip of the Fehigili channel. The reef consists of caves housing soldierfish, harlequin sweetlips and squirrelfish. During your diving safari at Fahigiri Reef, if you are lucky you will find gray reef sharks, tuna, trevally and barracuda swimming in the reef. Whether you are novice or advanced diver, you can dive safely at this reef. It has an average underwater visibility till 25 meters and the maximum depth of diving is 20 meters. Kanuhuraa Kandu to the south of Kanuhuraa channel offers exquisite experience in drift diving. Fushifaru Kandu offers challenging diving to divers when the tidal current is inward or flowing inside the atoll. Examine closely various gray reef sharks, barracuda, eagle rays, tuna and jackfish in the channel.
Visit Fushifaru Thila to the east of Fushifari Isle, which is 250 meters long and 30 meters wide. The place is best suited to spot napoleon wrasse, snapper and manta. Lhaviyani Atoll in Maldives has affluent marine species. Swim with colorful fishes and explore the hidden treasure of underwater realm. F ushifaru kandu, Fushifaru Firi, Olhukolhu Faru, Dhighdhoo Faru, Narcola Giri, Kuredu Ocean Reef, Aligau and Hinnavaru Kandu are some of the diving sites in Lhaviyani atoll. Take a diving safari to Lhaviyani to experience the chilling water and examine closely colorful marine species. You won't be disappointed at Lhaviyani atoll.
